Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX1 - Using the self-timer; Shooting close-ups (Macro)

You can shoot beautiful close-up images of small subjects such as insects or flowers.
Using the self-timer
1 Touch ~OFF (Self-Timer) -+
desired mode.
00FF (Off): Not using the self-timer.
~o (1 Osee): Shooting starts after a
lO-second delay. Use this setting if
you want to include yourself in the
image. To cancel, touch
0 X.
02 (2see): Shooting starts after a
two-second delay. This is to prevent
blurring due to unsteadiness when the shutter button is pressed.
2 Press the shutter button.
The self-timer lamp flashes and a beep sounds until the shutter operates.
Shooting close-ups (Macro)
1 Touch fimm] -+ ~AUTO (Macro)
-+ desired mode.
~TAUTO (Auto): The camera adjusts the
focus automatically from distant
subjects to close-up.
~Q. (Close Foeus On): Use this
mode to shoot at close distances.
Locked to the W side: Approximately
1 to 20 cm (13/32 to 7 7/8 inches)

• Macro mode is fixed to [Auto] in Sweep Panorama, Movie mode, Anti Motion Blur, Hand-held
Twilight, Smile Shutter or Easy Mode.
