The eyepiece sensors located right below tile viewfinder determines whether tile photographer
is looking into the viewfinder or not. Tile LCD monitor can be set to turn off automatically
when you are looking into the viewfinder.
Automatic The LCD monitor turns off automatically when you look into
the viewfinder.
Manual The LCD monitor stays on when you look into the
viex_finder.
• Regardless olthe setting in this menu, the recording information display automatically turns olf after a set
duration (five seconds in the default setting (page 102)).
You can set tile recording information display to rotate automatically when tile camera is in a
vertical position.
Auto rotate The display rotates amomatically to a vertical position when
the camera is in a vertical position.
Horizontal The display does not rotate when the camera is ill a vertical
position.
The image orienlalion can be recorded with lhe image which allows images recorded in a
vertical position Io be automatically displayed in the vertical position.
Autorotate The image orientation is recorded wilh the image.
Man.rotate The image orientation is not recorded wilh the linage.
• When [Auto rotate] is selected, an image loaded on a computer will be displayed in the vertical position
with "Picture Motion Browser"/"lmage Data Converter SR" (supplied), The image may not be displayed
in a vertical position, depending on the software employed.
