When the headphones are
connected:
HP 2CH
e normal sound eld for
headphones.
HP SURR
e sound eld for headphones with
surround eect.
HP VIRTUAL*
e sound eld for headphones with
virtual surround eect. is sound
eld is only eective when you play
back multi channel sources.
* ese sound elds cannot be selected
when the function is set to other than
“DVD” or when the Karaoke mode
is turned on (models with Karaoke
function only).
Note
Depending on the disc, the surround eect
may not be as much as expected.

You can enjoy Karaoke by setting the
system to Karaoke mode.
1 Press FUNCTION +/ repeatedly
(or press DVD on the unit) to
select “DVD.”
2 Turn MIC LEVEL on the unit to
“MIN” to reduce the microphone
volume.
3 Connect a microphone to MIC
jack on the unit.
e Karaoke mode is turned on.
“KARAOKE MODE: ON” appears on
the TV screen and “” appears in
the display.
