To
stop
the
tape
momentarily
Press
the
PAUSE
button.
The
tape
stops
and
the
video
monitor
displays
a
still
picture.
To
resume
playback,
press
the
PAUSE
button
again.
If
the
tape
is
paused
for
longer
than
the
time
set
from
the
menu,
the
still
picture
disappears
from
the
monitor
and
the
player
enters
long
pause
mode.
To
release
long
pause
mode,
press
the
PAUSE
button
again.
The
player
immediately
resumes
playback.
To
stop
playback
Press
the
STOP
button.
If
snow
or
streaks
appear
on
the
picture
When
the
player
plays
back
a
signal,
noise,
snow
or
streaks
may
appear
because
of
a
tracking
error.
To
overcome
this,
slowly
turn
the
TRACKING
control
so
that
the
best
possible
picture
is
obtained.
After
playing
back
this
tape,
reset
the
TRACKING
control
to
FIXED.
To
play
back
signals
recorded
in
the
NTSC
color
system
Set
the
SYSTEM
SELECT
switch
on
the
sub
panel
to
NTSC
4.43.
To
monitor
the
signal,
use
a
monitor
which
can
display
signals
of
multiple
color
systems.
The
NTSC-recorded
signals
are
played
back
based
on
the
NTSC««
system.
