  Your Southland Lawn and Garden Equipment engine might not start due to several reasons: * The ignition switch may be in the “OFF” position. If so, move the ignition switch to the ON position. * The engine may be flooded. Refer to the Starting A Flooded Engine section in your operation manual. * The fuel tank may be empty. Refill the tank with the correct fuel mixture. * The spark plug may not be firing. Replace the spark plug. * Fuel may not be reaching the carburetor. Check for any kinks or splits in the fuel line; repair or replace as needed.
