Assign a Static IP Address
Open Windows Control Panel and select the NETWORK CONNECTIONS icon. Choose the network
connection you are using for the link with the instrument, right-click and choose PROPERTIES.
Highlight the INTERNET PROTOCOL (TCP/IP) entry from the list and click on the PROPERTIES button.
The default IP address of the instrument is 192.168.0.250, the host PC address needs to be in the
same range, but not the same number. As you can see below, this host’s IP address ends in 10, but
could have been any number up to 255 excluding 250. Use the Subnet shown.
