SPECIFICATIONS:
Operating Range: Use only on non-energized (“dead”) circuits.
Indicators: Visual Only
Operating Environment: 32° - 104° F (0 - 32° C)
80% RH max., 50% RH above 30° C
Altitude up to 2000 meters. Indoor use.
Pollution degree 2. Accordance with IED-664.
Cleaning: Remove grease and grime with clean, dry cloth.
Bulb Replacement Information: Type - TL3, Base - Mini-screw, Wattage - (0.25watts), Voltage - (2.33volts)
OPERATION:
Only use on non-energized (“dead”) circuits.
1. Before using and to assure the batteries are good, test the tester by touching the metal tip and the
alligator clip to each other. If the unit is operating properly the lamp inside the tester will glow.
If the lamp does not glow then replace the batteries.
2. To test for continuity, attach the alligator clip to one end of the circuit or component to be tested and
then touch the other end with the metal probe tip. If the circuit is continuous (shorted) then the lamp in
the tester will glow. If the lamp does not glow then the circuit is “open” or intermittent.
BATTERY INSTALLATION:
Refer to Figure 2: Turn #1 counter clockwise to access battery compartment.
