  If your SportsArt Fitness Exercise Bike won't start, and the display is not lit when you pedal, you should: * Inspect cable connections. * Inspect the drive board fuse. * Inspect the drive board power LED. * Inspect the alternator. If the display doesn't light when you are not pedaling, you should: * Inspect the battery fuse on the drive board. * Measure the battery voltage; it should be 5.5V or more. * Pedal the unit at over 50 RPM to recharge the battery if the voltage is under 5.5V. * Replace the battery if the voltage is under 2.0V and it won’t recharge.

  If you're pedaling your SportsArt Fitness Exercise Bike, pressing the resistance keys, and the resistance values on the display change but you feel no actual resistance, you should: * Inspect the cable connections. * Inspect the alternator startup, as the unit will not have resistance if the alternator doesn't start. * Inspect the electro-magnet and its wires. * Test whether the drive board emits voltage to the electro-magnet.
