  If the mounting pad isn't sticking, it might be due to unclean skin. Try cleaning the skin with mild soap and water and let it dry completely. Alternatively, wipe the skin with an alcohol pad and allow it to dry. You could also apply a tiny drop of tap water to the adhesive side of the mounting pad. If none of these work, consider using a new mounting pad.

  Changes in stimulation sensation can occur for several reasons: * The Mounting Pad may be in a different place than usual: Reposition the Mounting Pad. * The Mounting Pad may not be sticking to the skin well: Refer to the troubleshooting section “Mounting Pad is not adhering to skin”. * The MicroLead may have moved: If desired response cannot be obtained by adjusting stimulus parameters, replace MicroLead with a new one.

  Painful stimulation can be due to a couple of reasons. First, the stimulus intensity might be too high, so try decreasing it. Second, the MicroLead may have moved; in this case, consider replacing the MicroLead.
