2. Select the desired sensitivity level 1, 2 or 3 by means of the UP or
DOWN key.
3. Validate by means of the PTT key: the VOX is displayed.
Deactivate VOX
1. Push the menu key four times: the adjusted sensitivity level is
flashing.
2. Select the OFF by means of the UP or DOWN key.
3. Validate the OFF by means of the PTT key: the VOX is no longer
displayed.
Automatic scan
The automatic scan permits to find active channels quickly. It scans
independently all of the 8 channels and stops as soon as a signal
exceeds the squelch threshold. After having found a signal scanning
will stop. It will start anew, if no signal is available. You can also restart
scanning by pushing the UP or DOWN key.
Beside the channel scan function your radio set offers also a CTCSS
scan and a DCS scan.
Activate channel scanning
1. Push the menu key five times: SCAN is flashing.
2. Start the scanning by means of the UP or DOWN key.
Deactivate channel scanning
To deactivate scanning you push the PTT key: scanning will stop and
SCAN is no longer displayed.
Activate CTCSS scanning
1. Push the menu key six times: SCAN and CTCSS 00 are flashing.
2 Start the scanning by means of the UP or DOWN key.
Deactivate CTCSS scanning
To deactivate scanning you push the PTT key: scanning will stop and
SCAN and CTCSS are no longer displayed.
Activate DCS scanning
1. Push the menu key seven times: SCAN and DCS 00 are flashing.
2. Start the scanning by means of the UP or DOWN key.
