Deactivate roger beep
1. Push the menu key ten times: rO is displayed and ON is flashing.
2. Select the OFF by means of the UP or DOWN key.
3. Validate by means of the PTT key.
Key tone
You may switch the key tone function on or off:
Activate key tone
1. Push the menu key eleven times: tO is displayed and OFF is flashing.
2. Select the ON by means of the UP or DOWN key.
3. Validate by means of the PTT key.
Deactivate key tone
1. Push the menu key eleven times: tO is displayed and ON is flashing.
2. Select the OFF by means of the UP or DOWN key.
3. Validate by means of the PTT key.
Dual watch function
If you wish to be ready-to-receive on both channels instead of only
one channel, you require the dual watch function. With this function
the radio set automatically changes every 0.5 sec. from the actual
channel to any second channel (preferred channel).
Note: You may also activate the CTCSS or DCS function on your
preferred channel.
Activate Dual Watch
1. Push the menu key twelve times: DCM and OFF are flashing.
2. Select the preferred channel by means of the UP or DOWN key.
3. If you want to set up CTCSS or DCS push the menu key once
(CTCSS) or twice (DCS) and select the desired number/code by
means of the UP or DOWN key.
4. Validate by means of the PTT key.
Deactivate Dual Watch
1. Push the menu key twelve times: DCM and the number of your
preferred channel are flashing.
2. Select the DCM OFF by means of the UP or DOWN key.
3. Validate by means of the PTT key.
