Do not permit the area around the diffuser to become damp or wet. If damp-
ness occurs, turn the output of the diffuser down. If the diffuser output can-
not be turned down, use the diffuser intermittently. Do not allow absorbent
materials, such as carpeting, curtains, drapes, or tablecloths, to become
damp.
Be aware that high humidity levels may encourage the growth of biological
organisms in the environment.
Unplug the appliance during filling and cleaning.
Never leave water in the water tank when the appliance is not in use.
Clean the water tank every 3 days
Empty and clean the appliance before storage. Clean the appliance before
next use.
Warning: Micro-organisms that may be present in the water or in the envi-
ronment where the appliance is used or stored, can grow in the water tank
and be blown in the air causing very serious health risks.
Setting up / operation
1. Place Lucy in the desired position on a flat surface. Connect the USB-C cable
(1) to the appliance (2) and connect the cable to a suitable power source (PC,
external battery, USB socket or to a suitable socket via a power adapter with
2 A/5 V). When the appliance is used for the first time, the battery must be
charged by connecting the appliance to a power source for at least 6 hours.
When the battery is fully charged, the status LED light (3) will go out. After
the battery has been fully charged for the first time, you can operate the ap-
pliance without the cable using the power from the integrated rechargeable
