In some installations there may not be a DHCP server
configured in the network
Small stand-alone or isolated networks may not have a DHCP
server available
If no DHCP server is available then it will be necessary to
configure the gateway with a laptop or PC
The gateway will wait for a short period of time before setting
a default IP address to allow for programming and
configuration
Default gateway IP address information:
IP address: 169.254.10.1
Sub Net Mask: 255.255.255.0
