(7) Paper Guide Setting: See the table below.
The paper guide can be adjusted in 2 mm increments. Lightly press the area near the Star mark
on the left side guide lever (see Fig. 3.3.1.7) and slide the lever. Position the leading end A of the
paper guide with the scale.
Adjust the paper width according to the representative values below.
1) Supports 82.5 mm paper: Position the end A of the paper guide to the scale a.
(Factory Setting)
2) Supports 79.5mm paper: Position the end A of the paper guide to the scale b.
3) Supports 57.5mm paper: Position the end A of the paper guide to the scale c.
(The Δ mark is a guide.)
4) Supports 45mm paper: Position the end A of the paper guide to the scale d.
(The diamond mark is a guide.)
Notes:
1. If you use the printer with incorrect guide settings for the width of the paper used, paper
will skew, or paper jams can occur.
2. Carefully check the operations using your layout and print media.
