7.1 Technical testing
A technical examination must be carried out at least once a year
by a trained person: check the lter for damage, ensure that the
vacuum cleaner is air-tight and check that the monitoring equip-
ment functions correctly.
8 Remedying faults
Functional faults are not necessarily always due a defective
appliance.
Fault::
Possible Cause/Remedy:
Decreasing suction force: Clogged lter – Clean.
Paper lter is full – Change
Container is full – Empty.
Clogged motor protection lter
– Clean.
Clogged nozzle, tube or hose
– Clean.
Appliance does not start: Is the plug insertes in the socket?
Mains failure?
Is the power supply cable bro
ken?
No other “interventions“ are allowed; consult the servicing work-
shop (see enclosed sheet “Customer Service Workshops”)..
