What to do if Stenhoj Lifting Systems platforms are not horizontal on ratchets?
    • S
      Shirley YoungAug 3, 2025
If the platforms of your Stenhoj Lifting Systems are no longer horizontal when resting on the ratchets, this is likely due to incorrect adjustment. To fix this, adjust the platforms and cross beams until they are horizontal. Loosen the nut under the top plate for the rail, then raise or lower the ratchet rails using the adjustment bolts at the top of the posts. Once adjusted, tighten the lock nut under the top plate for the rail. Ideally, the ratchet rails should be adjusted to the lowest possible position.

      Mark HansenAug 19, 2025
If the platforms of your Stenhoj Lifting Systems are no longer horizontal when hanging in the cables under a load of approximately 1000 kg (2200 lbs), it is likely that one or more of the cables have stretched. To resolve this, adjust the cables, referring to page 20 for detailed instructions.
