NOTE: The intake line must be a vacuum-resistant hose or pipe.
Preparing the intake line

• As a basic principle, we recommend using:
- A preliminary filter, in order to avoid unnecessary damage to the pump as a result of stones
and solid foreign bodies (Fig.
A
).
- A suction-hose set with suction hose and an intake valve with a strainer (in order to prevent
long priming periods) (Fig.
B
).

• If you cannot obtain a suction-hose set like above, please purchase (Fig.
C
):
- an 25 mm (1”) intake hose

- an intake valve with a strainer

- 2 hose clamps

and 2 standard adapters

(1 for the intake line, 1 for discharge line)
and assemble the suction-hose set yourself using a standard adapter
