8.4 TROUBLESHOOTING

The pump is not
starting
- There is no electric current
- There is no water
- Ensure that the electric
current is on.
- Check the water height

draining
- The outlet pipe is clogged
- The turbine is blocked
- Presence of an air bubble
- Clean the pipe
- Disassemble the base and
clean the turbine
- Tilt the pump to let out the
air bubble then put it back in
vertical position

suitable
- The draining pipe diameter
is not suitable
- The outlet pipe is clogged
- The turbine is blocked
- Replace the tube (19mm hose
is recommended)
- Clean the pipe
- Disassemble the base and
clean the turbine

- Use instructions have not
been followed
- The motor automatically
switches to safety position
- The pipe is not suitable
- The water is too hot. The
overheat protection device
is stopping the pump
- Check for the depth of
submersion.
- Replace the pipe following

35°C.
