BAR AND CHAIN INSTALATION
The chainsaw case contains the following components:
Open the box and install the guide bar and the chain on the power unit as follows:
The edges of the chain are very sharp. Use thick protective gloves for your safety.
1. Pull of the front handle backwards to check that the chain brake is not activated.
2. Loosen the nuts and remove the chain´s case. (“Take the adjustment protector off”).
3. Engage the chain with the sprocket and, while adjusting the chain around the guide bar,
assemble the guide bar on the power unit. Fit the position of the chain´s tensor.
Note: Pay attention to the chain´s direction.

4. Fit the chain´s cover to the power unit and tighten the nuts with your fingers.
5. While you hold the end of the bar, fit the chain´s tensor turning the tensor´s screw until the
links touches the bottom side of the chain´s rail.
