11 Working with the Cultivator
11.5 Holding and Guiding the Tiller
Hold the tiller with both hands on handles (1) so the
thumbs enclose the handles.
11.6 Loosening Firm Soil or Working Soil Additives
into Loose Soil
Place the front wheel in the operating position.
Start the engine.
Guide the tiller forwards and regulate the working speed
and working depth using the blade spur.
Move forwards slowly and in a controlled manner.
If the hoes become blocked:
Engage gear 0/R.
Guide the tiller backwards slowly until the hoes free
themselves.
Set the gear.
Move forwards slowly and in a controlled manner.
11.7 Tilling Loose Soil
Place the front wheel in the operating position.
Start the engine.
Guide the tiller forwards and regulate the working speed
and working depth using the blade spur.
Move forwards slowly and in a controlled manner.
11.8 Making Furrows
Place the front wheel in the operating position.
Start the engine.
Guide the tiller forwards and regulate the working speed
and working depth using the blade spur.
Move forwards slowly and in a controlled manner.
