English 7 Assembling the Lawn Mower
► Open the discharge shield and hold it in position.
► Remove the mulch plug.
► Close the discharge shield.
7.4 Fitting and Removing the Chute
7.4.1 Fitting the Chute
► Switch off the mower, remove the activation key and
battery.
► Place the mower on a flat surface.
► Open the side discharge shield (1) and hold it in position.
► Engage hooks (2) on the shaft (4) from below.
► Rest the side discharge shield (1) on the chute (3).
7.4.2 Removing the Chute
► Switch off the mower, remove the activation key and
battery.
► Place the mower on a flat surface.
► Open the side discharge shield (1) and hold it in position.
► Swing the chute (2) upwards and lift it away.
► Close the side discharge shield (1).
7.5 Fitting and Removing the Blade
7.5.1 Attaching the Blade
► Switch the lawn mower off, pull out the activation key and
remove the battery.
► Upend the lawn mower.
► Place new washer (1) on new bolt (2).
► Apply Loctite 243 or Loctite 242 thread locker to the
thread of bolt (2).
► Position blade (3) so the raised areas on the contact area
engage in the notches in blade (3).
