2. Confirmation of Screen OFF setting
ͻ Turn on ACC and ignition
ͻ Check to make sure the screen is not set to Screen OFF Mode
[ ADVICE ]
Press and hold down the Volume knob. The CID screen will display if the Screen OFF Mode is
released.
No Proceed to the next step
Yes Release the Screen OFF Mode and restore the screen display. There is nothing abnormal.
3. Check of power supply
ͻ Turn on ACC and ignition
ͻ Check the connectors installed properly.
ͻ Check the power voltage at CID

Pin 1 (+B Backup) 12V
Pin 3 (IGN) 12V
No Proceed to next steps
Yes Proceed to step 4 (video cable section)
ͻ Check the power voltage at CCU (side of CID)
Connectors & Terminals
CCU Connector: (H)
Pin 4 (+B Backup) 12V
Pin 5 (IGN) 12V
No Proceed to next steps
Yes Replace the cable between CCU and CID.
ͻ Check the power voltage at CCU (side of Battery)
Connectors & Terminals
CCU Connector: (I)
Pin 4 (+B Backup) 12V
Pin 9 (+B Direct) 12V
No Repair the cable between Battery and CCU. Then, return to top of step 3.
Yes Replace the CCU.
4. Check of video cable
ͻ Turn on ACC and ignition
ͻ Check the connectors installed properly.
Installed properly Replace the video cable. After that, still Blackout, replace the CID.
Not installed properly Install correctly
