(3)Diagnostic Procedure
1. Check the DTC
ͻ Confirm whether the following DTC have been detected
U0155: Lost communication with instrument panel cluster(IPC) control module
U0423: Inalid data receivfd from instrument panel cluster(IPC) control module
B2257: Meter communication line abnormality
B2258: Meter signal input abnormality
Yes If these DTC are detected, proceed to the countermeasure for each DTC
No Proceed to step 2
2. Check Meter
ͻ Confirm that the Meter is completely blackout
Yes Measure at Pin 1 (+Battery) and/or Pin 2 (IGN)
If +12V, go to step 3
If not +12V, repair the cable between Battery and Meter.
No Replace the Meter.
3. Check power supply to CCU
ͻ Confirm that the CID is displayed
Yes Replace the video cable between meter and CCU
No Go to step 4
4. Check CCU
ͻ Measure power supply voltage to CCU.
Connectors & Terminals
CCU Connector: (I)
Pin 4 (+B Backup) 12V
Pin 9 (+B Direct) 12V
Yes Replace CCU
No Repair the power supply cable between Battery and CCU.
