9.12 Meter: The meter display is flickering
(1) Probable Cause
ͻ CID abnormality, meter abnormality, or wiring harness abnormality
(2) Wiring Diagram/Connector Diagram
(3)Diagnostic Procedure
1. Check the DTC
ͻ Confirm whether the following DTC have been detected
U0155: Lost communication with instrument panel cluster(IPC) control module
U0423: Inalid data receivfd from instrument panel cluster(IPC) control module
B2257: Meter communication line abnormality
B2258: Meter signal input abnormality No Proceed to step 2
Yes If these DTC are detected, proceed to the countermeasure for each DTC
2. Power Supply Check
ͻ Turn on ACC and ignition
ͻ Does lighting other than for the meter multi-information screen (tell-tail, needle, etc.)
flicker?
No Proceed to the next step
Yes Confirm the meter power supply. If conditions are normal, the meter is faulty.
ͻ Confirm the meter cable (confirm the power supply and video continuity). Is there
anything abnormal?
No Faulty meter cable
Yes Replace the CCU
3. Confirmation of Details of Malfunction Occurrence
ͻ After determining the results above, the procedure is complete.
