Oversteer
If the vehicle begins to spin during cornering (oversteer), the VDCCM actuates the brakes
on the front and rear outer wheels. As a result, a yaw moment is generated in a direction that
counteracts the oversteer improving the vehicle’s stability.

Understeer
If the vehicle begins drift outward during cornering (understeer), the VDCCM actuates the
brake on the rear inner wheel. As a result, a yaw moment is generated in a direction that
counteracts the understeer improving the vehicle’s stability.
