6.5 Help
Help menu is accessed via the physical HELP button on
the front of the controller or the HELP soft key in the main
menu. This menu contains a QR code which when
scanned will take the user to the product manuals. Addi-
tionally, there is a soft key for an operational guide and
brief troubleshooting section.
6.5.1 Troubleshooting a non-responsive
touchscreen
If the touchscreen of the STS Controller stops respond-
ing when touched, but is still showing parameters in real
time and the operator can still use the five physical but-
tons below the controller and the OFF/ON/START switch,
the touchscreen is "frozen" or "locked up" and needs to
be reset.
6.5.1.1 Resetting a non-responsive
touchscreen
1. Toggle the OFF/ON/START switch to the
OFF position to shut down the compressor.
2. Wait until the engine has stopped running for
at least 120 seconds and pressure has
dropped to 3 psi.
3. Switch the battery disconnect to the OFF
position.
• The battery disconnect is located near the
batteries on the upper-right side (see Fig-
ure 2-1 on page 24).
4. Wait 30 seconds.
5. Switch the battery disconnect to the ON
position.
6. Restart the compressor.
