4.3. CHANGING THE REGENERATION ORIFICE
• Depressurize and disconnect power from the dryer.
• The regeneration orifice (Quantity = 2) are integrated into compression fittings that are
threaded directly into the top distribution block/check valve.
• Unscrew the tubing compression nuts on the orifice fittings, as well as the common
tubing.
• Remove regeneration orifice and re-install new orifice as required.
• Verify all tubing compression nuts are properly secured.

Consult Sullair
for recommendations and or replacement of the purge
regeneration orifice. Incorrect modification of the regeneration orifice can lead to
deterioration in performance of the dryer.
☛ Note
Use only original Sullair spare parts when working on the Sullair SD-220 to SD-
600 series dryers. The dryer type, model and serial number are required to
ensure correct parts are supplied. This information can be found on the
nameplate mounted on the control panel.
