7.5. SHUT-DOWN IN CASE OF A FAULT OR FOR MAINTENANCE
DANGER!
Before any kind of maintenance or repair work is done, the adsorption
dryer must be depressurized and disconnected from the power source.
Apply general safety procedures.
Note
The following sequence is to be heeded when switching off the adsorption
dryer:
1. Wait until dryer is in repress.
2. Switch the power off.
3. Close all the shut off valves up and downstream of the adsorption dryer.
4. Depressurize the dryer by using the hand valve mounted at the bottom of
the after filter.
7.6. RE-STARTING
1. Close the outlet isolation valve mounted down stream of the dryer.
2. Slowly open the inlet isolation valve and slowly pressurize the adsorption dryer up
(per the previous start-up procedures) to line pressure by keeping the outlet
isolation valve closed
3. Switch on the power.
4. If the adsorption dryer is being re-started following a long period of shut down,
proceed as described in section 3.1.
