Overview

The Summer My Bath Seat® with Toys is a bath seat designed to provide support for infants during bath time. It is suitable for babies who can sit up unassisted, typically around 5 months of age, and should be discontinued when the baby begins pulling to a standing position, usually around 10 months of age. Adult assembly and installation are required.

Function Description:

The bath seat is designed to help babies sit securely in a standard rectangular adult bathtub, allowing parents or caregivers to bathe them more easily. It features three suction cups that firmly attach to the interior walls of the tub, providing stability. The seat includes side extending arms and a rear extending arm, each with locking dials to ensure a secure fit. The product also comes with front hanging toys and a suction cup tray toy to engage the baby during bath time. A play tray is also included.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Suitability: For babies able to sit up unassisted (approx. 5 months) until they begin pulling to a standing position (approx. 10 months).
  • Tub Compatibility: ONLY for use in standard rectangular adult tubs with inner width dimensions of 21-24 inches.
  • Water Temperature: Bath water should be between 90 and 100°F (32.2 and 37.8°C).
  • Water Level: DO NOT fill the adult tub over the "Max Fill Level" mark located on the seat. Babies can drown in as little as 1 inch (2.5 cm) of water.
  • Suction Cups: Three suction cups (one rear, two side) with locking dials for secure attachment.
  • Adjustability: Rear and side extending arms with locking tabs and dials for a customized fit within the tub.

Usage Features:

  • Installation:
    1. Place the bath seat at the rear of a standard adult rectangular tub.
    2. Fully extend the Rear Extending Arm until both Locking Tabs "click" open, ensuring the arm is locked.
    3. Ensure the Rear Suction Cup is flush against the rear tub wall and firmly press it. Rotate the Locking Dial clockwise to lock the suction cup in place. The rear suction cup swivels to accommodate angled tub walls.
    4. Rotate the Locking Dials on the Side Extending Arms evenly until the Side Suction Cups make contact with the interior side walls of the tub.
    5. Continue rotating the Locking Dials until the Red Indicators are no longer visible, indicating a secure lock.
    6. Before bathing, ENSURE the bath seat and all three suction cups are securely locked to the tub walls.
  • Removal:
    1. Turn all Locking Dials towards the unlock icon.
    2. Pull on the Suction Cup tabs to break the seal with the tub wall.
    3. Rotate the Locking Dials on the Side Extending Arms until they are no longer in contact with the interior walls of the tub.
    4. Rotate the Locking Dial on the rear counter-clockwise to release the Suction Cup from the rear tub wall.
    5. Press both Locking Tabs on the Rear Extending Arm inward and push the arm fully back into the bath seat.
  • Attaching/Removing Toys and Tray:
    • The manual illustrates how to attach and remove the front hanging toys and the suction cup tray toy, typically involving pressing or pulling on specific points to secure or release them. The suction cup tray toy is removed by pulling on its tab to break the seal.
