YOU’VE PURCHASED A HIGH QUALITY HIGH POWERED SOLAR MOTION LIGHT, PLEASE CHARGE IN FULL
SUN FOR 4 DAYS BEFORE FIRST USE.
Solar Motion Security Light is the perfect system for your home and business. It is controlled by a sensor which measures
ambient light and movement. It has a total working time of 20-30 minutes per day. It can detect from 0-10 feet (0-3 meters).
Solar Motion Light requires NO DANGEROUS ELECTRICAL WIRING.
INSTALLATION
A. Mounting Location
For best results, install Solar Motion Light in an area that receives good sunlight for daily charging. To fully charge the Solar
Motion Light from a depleted battery, it has to be charged for approximately four days under sunlight. Please point sensor in
area that will not set off light or keep sensor covered with dark tape for full uninterrupted charging.
B. Wall Mounting or Wooden Surface Mounting
The Solar Motion Light is designed to be easily mounted on most flat surfaces. Be sure to place the solar panel and light within
the distance allowed by wire attached to the solar panel.
1. Solar Panel Mounting: Place the solar panel in shade free area (mount with screws to surface).
2. Motion Light Mounting: Place the Motion light in chosen area and mount with screws to surface.
3. Plug in the panel to the back of the Solar Motion Light
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
The ON/OFF switch is marked with a I and O. I = ON O = OFF
There is one dial located on the underside of the sensor. This dial controls the length of time the light will stay on each time it
is triggered.
Operating Tips and Procedures
If the Solar Motion Light does not function properly, please read carefully the above operating instructions and then take the
following steps:
1. Make sure that the sensor head is positioned such that no other light is shining on it after dark, it must be in the darkness
at night, or the Solar Motion Light will “think” that it is still day time and will not illuminate.
2. Make sure that the solar panel is located so as to receive maximum hours of unobstructed sunlight each day. The flat face
of the solar panel should be facing the noon time sun and the plug from panel to unit is connected.
3. Check and make sure that solar panel is not covered with leaves or other items.
If light keeps turning ON and OFF:
• Try re-aiming or re-positioning the sensor head, or adjust its coverage area by taping over a portion of the lens with
weather resistant tape. The sensor may be being triggered by moving branches or other undesired sources.
• The batteries may be dead and need replacing. Although rechargeable, the batteries included in this unit have a limited
lifetime. The batteries may be replaced with AA Ni-cd 600mA rechargeable batteries. Batteries are NOT supplied by
manufacturer.
