Purge the gas supply
lines.
Is the LED on the
ignition module
steady on?
Replace ignition
module.
Remove and re-insert
electrode. If it still
sparks to the side.
Replace electrode.

the gas type, orifice
and airplates correct
for the stated burner
specification?
Carefully bend the
terminal away from
the burner casting.

troubleshooting.

purged from the gas
supply lines?
Check the inlet
pressure to the gas
valve. Is it between
the minimum and
maximum for the gas

Adjust manifold gas
pressure.

Is there are spark to
the side of the burner
cup?

Check electrode
spark gap. Is it 1/8?

Tighten terminals.

Replace flame sense
wire ignition cable. If
problems persist
