4E-27 ABS:
Use of SDS
1) Remove the right frame cover. Refer to “Exterior
Parts Removal and Installation in Section 9D
(Page 9D-6)”.
2) After repairing the trouble, turn OFF the ignition
switch and turn ON again.
3) Set up the SDS tool. (Refer to the SDS operation
manual for further details.)
Special tool
: 09904–41010 (SDS set)
: 99565–01010–010 (CD-ROM Ver.10)
4) Click the ABS button (1).
5) Click the “DTC inspection” button (2).
6) Check the DTC.
NOTE
The previous malfunction history code (Past
DTC) still remains stored in the ABS HU.
Therefore, erase the history code memorized
in the ABS HU using SDS tool.
7) Click “Clear” (3) to delete history code (Past DTC).
NOTE
The DTC is memorized in the ABS HU also
when the wire coupler of any sensor is
disconnected. Therefore, when a wire
coupler has been disconnected at the time of
diagnosis, erase the stored malfunction
history code using SDS.
