Combination Meter / Fuel Meter / Horn: 9C-6
2) Connect the variable resistor (2) between the
terminals.
3) Turn the ignition switch ON.
4) Check the LED operations when the resistance is
adjusted to the specified values.
If either one or all indications are abnormal, replace
the combination meter with a new one. Refer to
“Combination Meter Removal and Installation
(Page 9C-4)”.
5) Connect the ECT sensor coupler.
Engine Coolant Temperature Removal and
Installation

Section 1C (Page 1C-2)”.
Fuel Level Indicator Inspection

Inspect the fuel level indicator in the following
procedures:
1) Support the motorcycle with the center stand.
2) Lift and support the fuel tank. Refer to “Fuel Tank
Removal and Installation in Section 1G (Page 1G-9)”
3) Disconnect the fuel level gauge coupler (1).
4) Connect variable resistor (2) between the R/B and B/
W lead wires from the wire harness.
Resistance LED (3) Water temperature
2.45 k and over OFF 19 °C and below
Approx. 0.811 k OFF Approx. 50 °C
Approx. 0.1 k ON 120 – 139 °C
0 (Jumper wire) ON 140 °C and over
