3-16 ENGINE
• Remove the intake camshaft 6.
• Remove the exhaust camshaft 7.
• Remove the dowel pins.
CYLINDER HEAD
• Remove the water hose 1.
• Remove the thermostat cover 2 and thermostat.
THERMOSTAT INSPECTION (7-9)
• Remove the ECT sensor 3.
ECT SENSOR INSPECTION (7-7)
• Remove the cylinder head bolts (M6) 4 and side face bolt 5.
• Remove the O-rings 6.
• Remove the cylinder head bolts and washers.
NOTE:
When loosening the cylinder head bolts, loosen each bolt little
by little diagonally.
• Remove the cylinder head.
• Remove the dowel pins and cylinder head gasket.
