NOTE:
• If the display indicates “FI”, and
the “FI” mark and red indicator
light come on, keep the engine
running and bring your vehicle to
an authorized Suzuki dealer. If the
engine stalls, try restarting the
engine after turning the ignition
switch off. Wait more than 3 sec-
onds before turning on the ignition
switch.
• If the display indicates “FI” contin-
uously, and the symbol mark “FI”
and red indicator light blinks, the
engine will not start. If the engine
is running, keep the engine run-
ning and bring your vehicle to an
authorized Suzuki dealer.
When the display indicates “CHEC”,
check following items;
• Make sure that the engine stop
switch is in the “” position.
If the display still indicates “CHEC”
after above procedure, inspect the
ignition fuse and connection of lead
wire couplers.
Fuel Meter C
The fuel meter indicates the amount
of fuel remaining in the fuel tank. The
fuel meter displays all 6 segments
when the fuel tank is full. The bottom
segment flickers when the fuel level
drops.
Coolant Temperature Indicator D
“” mark D and red indicator 6
comes on when the coolant tempera-
ture becomes high.
CAUTION
Running the engine with high
engine coolant temperature can
cause serious engine damage.
If the engine coolant temperature
meter display flickers and indica-
tor light comes on, stop the
engine to let it cool. Do not run the
engine until the coolant indicator
light goes off.
