Function Description:

The primary function of the SVVE12B box fan is to generate airflow to cool a room. It features rotating grilles that help distribute air more widely. The fan includes a power control to adjust the intensity of the airflow, offering different operating powers (1Low, 2Medium, and 3Low). Additionally, it incorporates a timer function, allowing users to select a specific operating duration. This feature is particularly useful for setting the fan to turn off automatically after a desired period, preventing continuous operation when not needed. The fan is designed to be placed on the floor, requiring a firm and level surface for stable operation.

Usage Features:

To operate the SVVE12B, first ensure it is plugged into a 230V AC 50Hz mains socket. The fan is turned on by pressing the on/off button, which is labeled as "1. On/Off rotating grilles" in the parts diagram. Once powered on, the user can select the desired operating power using the power control (labeled as "2. Power control"). The available settings are 1Low, 2Medium, and 3Low, allowing for customization of airflow intensity based on comfort needs. The timer function (labeled as "3. Timer - 1Hour") enables users to set the fan to run for a predetermined amount of time. It is crucial not to leave this function on if you are leaving the room where the fan is located, as a safety precaution. The fan should not be used outdoors or in positions where it could be exposed to water or moisture, as this is dangerous. It is also important not to connect the fan motor to a dimmer switch, as this can lead to unsatisfactory performance (motor hum) and potential damage to the motor. For safety, children under 3 years old should be kept away unless continuously supervised. Children aged 3 to 8 years should only switch the appliance on/off if it has been placed in its intended normal operating position and they have received supervision or instruction on safe use and understand the associated hazards.
