SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

4.1 Follow the general safety instructions by operation of refrigerator-freezer.
4.2 Your appliance conforms to I. Class of electric shock protection. Please contact
qualified electrician if the power cord plug of the appliance does not suit to your socket (at
the expense of customer).
4.3 Check the working order of the socket and the plug as well as insulation integrity of
the power cord before switching on the appliance.
4.4 Avoid any damages of the power cord. If the power cord is damaged it is only to be
replaced with the same one obtained by manufacturer or service workshop. In order to avoid
hazard the replacement of the power cord should be only carried out by qualified technicians
of authorized service. If there is any sign of decreasing of appliance insulation properties
(slight pricking by touching of metal parts), turn off the appliance immediately and call
technician from service workshop in order to detect and eliminate the failure.
4.5 Do not put heating devices on the top plate 1 (pic. B.2) of the appliance as it can
cause the burning of plastic.
Avoid coming of moisture on conducting parts at the rear side of the refrigerator-
freezer.
4.6 Clean the rear parts of the appliance (condenser etc.) from dust periodically (at least
one time per year) with non-metallic brush or vacuum cleaner. Prior any cleaning attempts
disconnect the appliance from the mains and pull the power cord from the mains wall outlet.
4.7 In fire safety reasons do the following:
- do not connect the appliance to mains supply with damaged overload protection;
- do not use adapters, additional sockets and extension cords for connection;
- do not call the person who does not have appropriate approval (license) in order to
replace the components of wiring;
- do not use the light bulb with power of more than 15 W;
- do not operate the appliance above its lifetime (further operation is only possible after
complete wiring replacement).
