Installing
Driver

Windows
Vista:
1.
Before
start
Vista
64bit
operating
system,
press
F8
to
select
“Disable
Driver
Signature
Enforcement”.
You
should
always
select
this
option
when
you
use
this
card
on
Vista
64bit
operating
system.
Skip
Step],
if
you
use
this
card
on
Vista
32bit
operating
system,
or
use
WHQL
driver.
2.
Once
Vista
start
up
is
completed,
insert
the
Driver
CD
into
the
CD-ROM
drive,
assume
drive
D.
3.
Vista
will
automatically
detect
the
PCI-Express
I/O
card.
Select
“Locate
and
install
driver
software
(recommended)”
and
click
Continue.
And
then
select
“I
don’t
have
the
disc.
Show
me
other
options”.
4.
Click
on:
Browse
my
computer
for
driver
software
(advanced),
and
then
browse
to
the
following
folder
on
the
Driver
CD,
assume
the
operating
system
used
is
Windows
Vista
32bit:
D:\Moschip\MCS9901\
Vista
5.
Click
the
Next
to
continue.
Follow
the
on-screen
instruction
until
the
driver
is
install
completely.
7.
Select
“Install
this
driver
software
anyway”
when
Vista
prompt
the
following:
Windows
can’t
verify
the
publisher
of
this
driver
software.
8.
Finally
click
Close
when
all
the
drivers
have
been
installed.
an

2000,
Server
2003,
and XP:
1.
Start
Windows
and
insert
the
Driver
CD
into
the
CD-ROM
drive,
assume
drive
D.
2.
Windows
will
automatically
detect
the
PCI-Express
I/O
card.
Select
“No,
not
this
time”
and
click
the
Next
button
to
continue.
3.
Select
“Install
from
a
list
or
specific
location
(Advanced)”
and
click
on
the
Next
button.
4.
Uncheck
“Search
removable
media”
and
check
“Include
this
location
in
the
search”,
and
then
click
the
Browse
button
to
select
the
location
for
the
drivers,
assume
the
operating
system
used
is
Windows
XP
32bit:
D:\Moschip\MCS9901\Win2K_XP_2003Server
Click
the
OK
button
to
confirm
and
click
Next
button
to
continue.
If
the
wizard
asks
for
Windows
Logo
testing
to
verify
compatibility,
click
Continue
Anyway.
Click
the
Finish
button
to
finish
installing
driver.
Once
driver
installation
is
completed,
you
can
now
connect
your
external
devices
to
the
PCI-Express
I/O
card.

install
the
driver
for
the
external
devices,
please
refer
to
the
external
device
user’s
manuals.
