When engine running, the muffler will be extremely hot and it will keep hot for a period of time after engine
stopped. Don’t touch it when muffler is hot, let the engine cool completely before moving or storing it.
Engine gives off carbon monoxide which is a dangerous gas that can cause nausea and even death. Operating
engine only outdoors.
Keep hands and feet away from engine rotating parts.
Don’t wear loose clothing, jewelry, short pants, sandals or go barefoot. Secure hair above shoulder level.
Wear safety glasses, and ear/hearing protection , when operating engine.
Do not smoke.
This engine is equipped with a mandated mechanism which stops the engine.Do not interfere with or bypass
this mechanism.Parts of the mechanism may be subject to wear and must be checked once a year for proper
operation.In the event the mechanism fails for any reason, you must not use the engine until it has been
properly repaired.
