★ When engine running, the muffler will be extremely hot and it will keep hot for a period of time after engine
stopped. Don’t touch it when muffler is hot, let the engine cool completely before moving or storing it.
★ Engine gives off carbon monoxide which is a dangerous gas that can cause nausea and even death. Operating
engine only outdoors.
★ Keep hands and feet away from engine rotating parts.
★ Don’t wear loose clothing, jewelry, short pants, sandals or go barefoot. Secure hair above shoulder level.
★ Wear safety glasses, and ear/hearing protection , when operating engine.
★ Do not smoke.
★ This engine is equipped with a mandated mechanism which stops the engine.Do not interfere with or bypass
this mechanism.Parts of the mechanism may be subject to wear and must be checked once a year for proper
operation.In the event the mechanism fails for any reason, you must not use the engine until it has been
properly repaired.
