Then,
rotote
the SQUELCH
clockwise
to the
Point
where
bockground
noise
iust
stops.

Now,
when-o
signol
is
present,
it will
be
heord,
but
noise between
signols
will be
removed.
When
proPerlY set,
SQUELCH
will
keep
the
receiver
"deod"
until o
signol
is
picked up
on
thot chonnel.
Do
not set
SQUELCH
too
high,
or

connot
get
througih.
To

reception
