Introduction
Model C009
Running Specifications
The following pressure and temperature settings are
recommended by Taylor for the Model C009.
Refrigerant Pressures
The EPR valve pressure reading should be 59-61
PSI (407-420 kPa). This pressure reading should be
monitored and adjusted when the water chiller has
been satisfied and the refrigerant has switched to
the cabinet. Your gauge should be read at the fitting
of the EPR valve.
Low Side (Compressor)
Head pressure on air cooled units varies depending
on the ambient temperature. The low side reading at
the compressor should be 69 - 71 PSI (476 -
490 kPa) with the main system (water chiller)
running.
Temperature Adjustment
The temperature is preset at the factory to maintain
the product temperature within the range of 35°F -
41°F (1.7°C - 5.0°C).
The operator does not have the ability to adjust the
temperature of the cabinet or the water chiller.
Water Pressures
The dispenser requires a boosted and chilled water
supply that has been filtered. The supply line should
be capable of providing a minimum of two gallons
per minute water flow at 45°F (7.2°C). The water
pressure should be 40 - 100 PSI (276 - 690 kPa)
dynamic.
The water line is connected at the rear of the
dispenser. The dispenser has an internal regulator
that should be preset at 50 PSI (345 kPa).
DO NOT set this dispenser up for dual
dispense unless all of the following minimum
requirements have been met:
S Water supply line to the dispenser should be
1/2” ID.
S Minimum water flow rate should be no less
than four gallons per minute at any time.
Failure to comply with the minimum requirements
will result in erratic finished product flow rate,
unacceptable product quality, electrical
malfunctions, and a decrease in customer
satisfaction.
Please contact your service provider for an
evaluation of water flow capability.
