19. Attach the open end of the mix suction tube to the
pressure relief inlet fitting of the Horizon
®
pump.

20. Insert the free end of the suction line and the
pressure line into the pail of sanitizing solution.

21. Repeat steps 1 through 20 for the other side of the
freezer on Model 8756.
Sanitizing
1. Prepare a pail of approved 100 ppm sanitizing
solution (for example, 2 gal. [7.6 L] of Stera-Sheen
®
).
Note: Use warm water and follow the
manufacturer’s specifications.
Place the pail of sanitizing solution inside the mix
cabinet.
2. Place the power switch in the on position.
3. Press the PUMP button. An indicator will light,
indicating the Horizon
®
pump is operating. This
action will cause the sanitizing solution to be pumped
through the pump and out through the pressure line.
After approximately 15 seconds, press the PUMP
button. The light will go out, and the pump will stop
operation.

4. Drain and connect the free end of the pressure line to
the check valve.
