Overview

The Dodi S4-SN is a bedside sleeper designed for infants, suitable for babies aged 0 to 5 months and up to a maximum weight of 9 kg. It can be used as a standalone bassinet or attached to an adult bed as a co-sleeper.

Function Description:

The Dodi S4-SN provides a safe and comfortable sleeping area for infants. In bedside sleeper mode, it allows the infant to sleep close to the parents, facilitating nighttime feeding and comforting, while maintaining a separate and secure space for the baby. The product is designed to transition from a bedside sleeper to a free-standing bassinet.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Age and Weight Limit: 0 to 5 months, maximum 9 kg.
  • Mattress Thickness: The uncompressed mattress thickness shall not exceed 40 mm.
  • Mattress Position (Bedside Sleeper Mode): The upper surface of the non-compressed mattress must be at least 200 mm lower than the upper surface of the lowest side of the bedside sleeper. The top edge of the lowering bar must be below the top of the adult mattress, and the bedside sleeper bassinet mattress must be a minimum of 12 cm below the top edge of the lowering bar.
  • Adult Bed Compatibility: Designed for use with adult beds that are between 57 cm and 69 cm from the floor to the top of the adult mattress. The adult bed mattress must always be 2 cm higher than the height of the side support for restraint of the sleeper.
  • Height Adjustment: The sleeper can be adjusted to 5 different heights. It is crucial that both height adjustment mechanisms are always set to the same height to ensure a flat and safe sleeping environment. An inclined setting is not safe.
  • Wheels: Equipped with lockable wheels for easy movement and secure positioning.

Usage Features:

  • Assembly: The manual provides detailed instructions for assembling the frame, attaching the liner, and securing the various components. It emphasizes ensuring all locking mechanisms are engaged before use.
  • Bedside Sleeper Mode:
    • To activate this mode, the front panel is unzipped and lowered.
    • Fixing belts are used to securely attach the sleeper to the adult bed frame.
    • It is critical to ensure there is no gap between the bedside sleeper and the adult mattress to prevent entrapment. The belts must be tightened firmly before each use.
    • The product is only permitted with beds and/or mattresses with straight sides; round or water mattresses are not allowed.
    • The sleeper should always be fitted to the long side of access to the bed, not the head or foot.
  • Free-Standing Bassinet Mode:
    • To use as a free-standing bassinet, the elastic tabs on the middle frame support are released, and the front panel bar is put back in place.
    • The front panel is zipped up on both sides.
  • Height Adjustment: The height is adjusted by simultaneously sliding an arrowed button upwards and pushing a lower button, then raising or lowering the sleeper to the desired height. This process must be repeated on the opposite side, ensuring both sides are at the same height.
  • Wheel Lock: Wheels can be locked by pressing the lock down and released by lifting it up. Always lock the wheels when the child is inside.
  • Lining Removal: The mattress is removed, Velcro tabs are released from the side support frames, and the front panel is unzipped on both sides. The bar lever is slid back and lifted on both sides to remove the lining.

Maintenance Features:

  • Cleaning:
    • The fabric cover of the sleeper and mattress is durable, fully removable, and washable.
    • Washing instructions on the label must be followed carefully:
      • Hand wash in cold water.
      • Do not iron.
      • Do not bleach.
      • Do not dry clean.
      • Do not tumble dry.
    • Avoid using solvents, abrasives, or aggressive cleaning products.
    • Check the resistance of the fabric and stitching after each wash.
  • General Maintenance:
    • Regularly check the tightness of screws, nuts, and other fasteners; tighten or replace as needed.
    • Periodically inspect the product for loose, damaged, or missing parts. Do not use the product if any part is broken, torn, or missing.
    • Any textile parts should only be removed by an adult.
    • In case of damage, do not use the product and keep it out of reach of children. Seek prompt repairs for bent, torn, worn, or broken parts.
    • Contact customer service for replacement parts or if difficulties arise during assembly.
