Warning: Do not expose this unit to extreme
temperatures or humid areas.
No user serviceable parts inside. Refer all
servicing to qualified service personnel.
The voltage on the 8 outlets will match the
voltage used on the power supply input. For
example, if the power supply input is 110V,
the 8 grounded outlets will output 110V and
therefore should only be connected to
devices requiring 110V.
Operating Instructions:
1. Connect the power plug to the rear of the unit.
(Do not power on the unit).
2. Connect the audio output on the device your
signal is coming from to the LINE.IN on the rear
of the dB30.
The signal must be PRE-amp level. (The signal
cannot be amplified or from an amplifier)
3. To pass the signal through the dB30, connect
the LINE.OUT on the rear of the dB30 to the audio
input on the next device in the signal path.
4. Switch the power on.
5. Using adjusters, set unit to desired settings.
6. Select a display mode. DOT, AUTO or BAR.
Dot Mode: Only one LED will glow according to the
peak level of the audio signal.
Auto Mode: There are five LED display modes
when this mode is selected. The unit will switch
among all the modes.
Bar Mode: LED’s from 5dB to 140dB will light up
according to the audio signal strength.
