Mi HOW TO OPERATE
e Setting the timer (on/off time)
About the timer
The timer is used to turn the power on or off at preset times. If the AC outlet control is set to the ‘‘auto’’ (=~ HL) position,
the power will be turned on at the preset ‘‘on’’ time, and off at the preset ‘‘off’’ time.
3 “auto”:
(Note: In order to turn the AC 1
outlet on or off regardless of the
timer operation, set the AC outlet
control to ‘‘manual’’ and then
switch the power on or off by
using the button at right.)
e Setting the timer “on” time:
Set the mode selector to the
‘timer on set’ position.
e Setting the timer “off’’ time:
Set the mode selector to
‘timer off set’’ position.

Note: If the ‘’fast’’ and ‘‘slow”’
buttons are pressed
simultaneously, the time
will be set to ‘‘0:00’’.
Notes:
1. If an amplifier, etc., is turned ‘‘on"’ by the timer and after one minute, the mode selector is set to the ‘‘timer on set’’ posi-
tion, the power and the timer-controlled operation will be turned off.
2. The timer will not operate if the mode selector is set to the ‘‘timer on set’’ position.
3. The timer will not operate if the ‘‘on’’ and “off’’ times are set to the same time.
@ Setting the sleep timer
About the sleep timer
The sleep timer is used to turn the power off automatically at a preset time. The sleep timer makes it possible to go to sleep
while listening to music. The timer will then turn the power of the audio unit off at the preset time.
2-1 Set the time.

time display starts counting down
