Select the component.

Select “LEARN”.
Press “enter’’.
“LEARN” will flash.
Select the key to be
programmed.
The “LEARN” will flash faster.
Notes:
1. For memorizing “VCR rec” keys,
press two keys simultaneously.
2. it is recommended that, for
your convenience, the
“option” keys (A, B, C, D, E,
F, G, H, |) be used to
memorize the codes that you
often use.
Press and hold the key
corresponding to the
function to be
memorized; hold the
key until the “OK”’
indicator of the
SH-R500 illuminates.
If the “ERROR?” indicator
illuminates, repeat steps 4 and 5
once again.
Note:
When memorizing the remote-
control codes for the first time,
the “ERROR?” indicator may
illuminate depending on the type
of remote control.
Repeat steps 4 and 5 for
each key function to be
programmed.
Press the “use’”’ key to
return to the ‘‘use”’
mode.
