The sound for this instrument can be heard by playing the

The tone for this instrument can be selected by operating
the external equipment.
¢ MIDI Clock Signal
You can play the keyboard in synchronization with the
clock on the external equipment (clock MIDI mode).
e Effect Data, Sustain Data
The effect and sustain for this instrument can be
controlled by operating the external equipment.
e Start/Stop Data
You can start and stop the drum percussion and Program
Chord Computer from the external equipment. (In this
case Play Sequencer or PS demo cannot be started.)
¢ FSC (when loading) Number
By operating the external equipment, the FSC for this
instrument can be selected.

keyboard (clock int mode).

The effect and sustain of the external equipment can be
controlled by operating the effect and sustain buttons for
this instrument.
© Start/Stop Data
You can start and stop the external equipment from the
keyboard.
© FSC (when loading) Number
The song of the external equipment can be selected by
loading the FSC for this instrument.
® These data cannot be received by some equipment.
e When connected to equipment that has a hold function,
the keyboard sustain on button will work with this function
to hold a note indefinitely.
© If the split accomp function is not selected during MIDI
operation then data on the Accompaniment basic channel
is ignored.
e Ifthe function is enabled in a system with another
SX-K300/K350/K450 then using the initialize sequence
( E¥_q then initialize) will initialize both keyboards.
e Care must be used when sending Voice Select signals
over a MIDI system. These messages are not standardized
and may produce unwanted results in other keyboards.

® When using Transpose function only the sound of the
SX-K300/K350/K450 will be affected. The transmitted data
will be key played information only.
