4.6 Positioning the microphone
1. If possible, insert the cable in the roof lining, but make sure that the microphone remains close to the driver. As an
alternative, you can also mount the microphone at the top edge of the windscreen using self-adhesive pads.
2. Fix the microphone in a suitable position, such as the roof lining or the driver’s sun visor.
4.7 Connecting the reception unit to the power supply
1. Position the cable for the power supply to the reception unit (USB connection) in such a way that it can reach the power
connection on the vehicle (e.g. the 12 V cigaree lighter).
2. If possible, place the cable under the side cladding on the windscreen. As an alternative, you can also mount the cable
on the windscreen and the dashboard with self-adhesive pads.
