Step 1
The Breadboard
Take a look at the
breadboard. The horizontal
rows at the top and bottom
of this image (marked in
red and blue) are used as
“power rails”. They provide
a convenient way to supply
components with
electricity. The power rails
are connected all the way
along the edges of the
breadboard.
However the inside rails on
the breadboard run
perpendicular to those
on the outside. These are
marked in orange.
