DESCRIZIONE
Il CE396CS è un ripetitore che permette di ritrasmettere un segnale seriale RS485 oltre i
limiti di distanza imposti dal cavo, è bidirezionale ed è dotato di triplo isolamento sia su
entrambe le linee, sia sull’alimentazione.
Utilizzando il CE396CS collegato sulla linea seriale RS485 di una centrale rilevazione gas,
serie CE700 è possibile collegare le unità remote CE380UR poste ad una distanza
superiore i 1000 metri.
Il CE395CS è installabile su guida DIN ed è dotato di morsetti per la connessione dei
segnali e per l’alimentazione esterna 9÷36Vdc.
CONFIGURAZIONE
All’esterno del contenitore, sono presenti dei Dip-Switch, i cui interruttori (vedi sotto
disegno), servono per configurare il prodotto per il tipo di funzionamento richiesto. La
velocità di trasmissione è impostata di default su 2,4 Kbit/s (2400 baud).
COLLEGAMENTI
Alimentazione: il CE396CS va alimentato esternamente a 9÷36Vdc 2,4W.
Segnale seriale RS485: il CE396CS va collegato alla linea seriale RS485 utilizzando le
morsettiere, come indicato in Fig.1. Il morsetto “Tx+” è il Segnale RS485 High, il Morsetto
“Tx-“ è il Segnale RS485 Low, mentre il Morsetto “GND” è la calza del cavo schermato che
va collegata a terra con una resistenza da 100Ω, per evitare loop di massa.

GENERAL INFORMATION
The CE396CS is a repeater that can retransmit a RS485 serial signal over the distance
limits imposed by the cable, is bidirectional and is equipped with triple insulation is on both
lines, both nutrition.
Using the CE396CS connected on RS485 serial line to a central gas detection, CE700
series can be connected to the remote units CE380UR placed at a distance of more than
1000 meters.
The CE395CS can be installed on DIN rail and is equipped with terminals for connection of
signals and power supply external 9 ÷ 36Vdc.
CONFIGURATION
Outside of the container, are present of the Dip-Switch, whose switches (see below
drawing), are used to configure the product for the type of operation requested. The baud
rate is set by default to 2.4 kbit / s (2400 baud).
CONNECTIONS
Power: The CE396CS be supplied externally with 9÷36Vdc 2,4 W.
Serial Signal RS485: CE396CS must be connected to the RS485 serial line using the
terminal blocks, as shown in figure 1. The terminal "Tx +" is the signal RS485 High, the
terminal "Tx-" is the signal RS485 Low, while the terminal "GND" is the shield of the
shielded cable that is connected to the ground with a resistance of 100Ω to avoid loops
mass.
